I was a member of the Large Animal Rescue, an awesome group, while I lived in San Diego.

Our job is to rescue large animals (little ones too if they're need'n to be rescued)

from fire, flood or any other emergency situation.

We did training every month for all kinds of rescues.

This would be for the large dog air rescue...um, well, we didn't happen to have a dog that day.   Apparently, I am the same size as a large dog!

                                                                        Llama training was fun...

                                                                                            and yes, they do spit

Off to a Santa Ana wildfire.  Several of these were arson, can you believe it!

This little guy couldn't walk one day...so for two weeks we rotated going out there every 4 hours and hoisting him up on his feet and massaging his legs.

We had the vet and a chiropractor out and they couldn't fix him.  Last resort, we called an acupuncturist and he did the trick.  Stuck those little needles in his legs and ears and the next day he could somewhat walk, eventually he could get around on his own.

Check out some pictures of my own animals, past and present...
